സി.എസ്.ഐ. മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക പരിസ്ഥിതി വകുപ്പ് താഴെപ്പറയുന്ന വിഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പരിസ്ഥിതി വിഷയാധിഷ്ഠിത വീഡിയോകളും ഹരിത പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾക്കായുള്ള അപേക്ഷകളും ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നു.
വിജയികൾക്ക് പാരിതോഷികം, കാഷ് അവാർഡ്, സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് എന്നിവ 2027 ജനുവരി അവസാനം നടക്കുന്ന മഹായിടവക പരിസ്ഥിതി കൺവൻഷനിൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്യും.
മത്സരത്തിനായി സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന വീഡിയോകളിൽനിന്ന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നവ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും പരിസ്ഥിതി ബോധവത്കരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള അവകാശം സി.എസ്.ഐ. മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക പരിസ്ഥിതി വകുപ്പിനായിരിക്കും.

പരമാവധി ദൈർഘ്യം: 5 മിനിറ്റ്
- സോളോ, ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എന്നീ വിഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാം.
- ആവശ്യാനുസരണം വാദ്യോപകരണങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
- ഗാനം മലയാളത്തിലോ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലോ ആയിരിക്കണം.
- മലയാള ഗാനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് സബ്ടൈറ്റിലുകൾ നിർബന്ധമാണ്.

- മത്സരാർത്ഥി സ്വന്തമായി നടത്തുന്ന കൃഷിയാണ് വീഡിയോയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത്.
- നിലമൊരുക്കൽ, വിത്തിടൽ, പരിപാലനം, വളർച്ച, വിളവെടുപ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയ വിവിധ ഘട്ടങ്ങൾ സമയബന്ധിതമായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ച് പിന്നീട് ഒരു വീഡിയോയായി സംയോജിപ്പിക്കണം.

- ആവശ്യമായിടത്ത് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സംഗീതത്തിന്റെയും ഗാനത്തിന്റെയും ദൃശ്യങ്ങളുടെയും ഉറവിടവും പകർപ്പവകാശ വിവരങ്ങളും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തണം.
- ഒരേ വീഡിയോ ഒന്നിലധികം വിഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ സമർപ്പിക്കാൻ പാടില്ല.
- വിധികർത്താക്കളുടെ തീരുമാനം അന്തിമമായിരിക്കും.

CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese Environmental Awards – 2026
Notice Regarding Environmental Video Competitions and Green Awards
The Department of Ecological Concerns of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese invites environmental videos and applications for Green Awards under the categories listed below.
Winners will receive prizes, cash awards, and certificates at the Diocesan Environmental Convention, scheduled for late January 2027.
The Department of Ecological Concerns of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese reserves the right to exhibit selected videos and use them for environmental education and awareness programmes.
Competition and Award Categories
1. Environmental Song Video
Maximum duration: 5 minutes
- Entries may be submitted under solo or group categories.
- Musical instruments may be used, if required.
- The song must be in English or Malayalam.
- Malayalam songs must include English subtitles.
- The song should communicate a clear environmental vision and inspire listeners to become involved in environmental protection.
- If you use a copyrighted song with permission, clearly state the relevant copyright and acknowledgement details in the video.
- Special consideration will be given to original songs composed and performed by the participants.

2. Environmental Dance Video
Maximum duration: 5 minutes
- Entries may be submitted under solo or group categories.
- The background song must be related to the environment.
- The video must include English subtitles for the song.
- Students of schools managed by the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese may participate in the group category.
- In school and college group entries, not all participants need to be CSI members.

3. Environment-Friendly Farming Video
Maximum duration: 7 minutes
- This is an individual competition category.
- The video must present farming activities personally undertaken by the participant.
- Film different stages—including land preparation, sowing, cultivation, maintenance, growth, and harvesting—at the appropriate times, then compile them into a single video.
- English subtitles are mandatory.
- Special consideration will be given to organic farming, water conservation, soil health, preservation of indigenous seeds and the use of organic manure.
4. Environmental Protection Activities Video
Maximum duration: 7 minutes
- Individuals, groups and parishes may participate.
- English subtitles are mandatory.
- The video may include any activities that contribute to carbon neutrality and climate resilience.
Examples include:
- Use of solar energy
- Rainwater harvesting
- Water and energy conservation
- Waste management
- Composting and biogas
- Elimination of single-use plastics
- Organic farming
- Tree planting
- Biodiversity conservation
- Use of public transportation and vehicle sharing
- Environmental education and awareness programmes
5. Green Farmer Award
- This award is for individuals who prioritise organic farming and environmentally responsible agricultural practices.
- Participants will be assessed on the extent, diversity, quality and continuity of the farming activities they personally undertake.
- Participants should cultivate vegetables and other agricultural produce, at least for their household requirements.
- If harvesting has been completed or crops have been damaged by adverse weather by the time of inspection, participants should record every stage of cultivation using a mobile phone or camera.
- The footage recorded at different stages may later be compiled into a single video.
- To verify that the farming activities are genuinely undertaken by the participant, the local Presbyter or Church worker should appear in the video at different stages.
- A recommendation from the local Presbyter or Church worker must accompany the application.
- Agricultural footage generated through artificial intelligence, or footage that falsely represents actual farming activities, will not be accepted.
6. Green Home Award
The award will be based on how effectively the house and its surroundings have been organised in an environmentally responsible and resource-efficient manner.
Special consideration will be given to the following:
- Rainwater harvesting
- Groundwater and well-recharging systems
- Management of kitchen waste at source
- Use of biobins and composting systems
- Biogas plants
- Cultivation of vegetables for household requirements
- Organic farming
- Use of LED lights and energy-efficient appliances
- Use of solar energy
- Reduction of single-use plastics
- Biodiversity conservation
- Environmentally responsible management of the house and its surroundings
7. Punnackadu Malayil Rev. P. M. Koshy Memorial Green School Award
This award is open to schools managed by the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese.
- Schools will be evaluated on their contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development.
- Schools should record the environmental activities undertaken during the next three months and compile them into a video of no more than ten minutes.
- As in previous years, the video should clearly present the planning, student participation, implementation, continuity and impact of the activities.
- English narration or English subtitles are mandatory.
The principal areas of evaluation may include:
- Water and energy audits
- Rainwater harvesting
- Use of solar energy
- Waste management at source
- Plastic-free campus initiatives
- Organic farming
- Tree planting and biodiversity conservation
- Green clubs and student participation
- Environmental education and community engagement
General Rules and Conditions
- The last date for submitting entries is 15 December 2026.
- Selected videos may be shared with Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches in partnership with the CSI, as well as with the World Council of Churches and other international Church and environmental networks. Therefore, every video must include either English narration or English subtitles.
- Entries must have good-quality video and audio.
- A category will be treated as a competitive event only if it receives at least three valid entries.
- Individual categories are open only to members of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese.
- Group entries may be submitted for the Environmental Song, Environmental Dance and Environmental Protection Activities categories.
- Schools and colleges managed by the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese may participate in group categories. All members of such groups need not be members of the CSI.
- Members of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese residing outside India may also participate.
- Every entry must clearly state the participant’s name, place of residence, contact number and the name of the participant’s parish within the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese.
- Group entries must include the name of the institution or parish, the name of the team leader and the details of the participants.
- Copyrighted songs, music, images or video footage taken from the internet must not be used without proper permission.
- Videos, voices, music, images or agricultural footage generated through artificial intelligence will not be accepted. All activities presented in the video must be genuine.
- Wherever applicable, the source and copyright details of the music, songs, images and video footage used must be clearly acknowledged.
- The same video must not be submitted under more than one category.
- The decision of the judging panel will be final.
- By submitting an entry, the participant grants the Department of Ecological Concerns of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese permission to use selected videos for environmental education, training, exhibition and awareness programmes.
- All entries must be submitted exclusively through the prescribed Google Form.
